Sorry, I am really terrible at keeping up on here.

At the beginning of the semester, I was signed up for a photography class, 3-D design, and a ceramics throwing class. After the first week, I realized that the photography class wasn't the kind of photography I want to be doing (It was mainly going to be commercial stuff like taking photographs of buildings) so I dropped out off that and added a math class. I am kind of glad I did because I don't think I would have had the time to take photos right now. My 3-D design class and my ceramics class are keeping me plenty busy! A couple weeks ago I spent at least 5 hours in the ceramics room each day (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) in order to finish 20 bowls and 20 cylinders that we had due. I'm still not very good at throwing on the wheel but my stuff is definitely improving and I can actually trim now! Well, kind of... I have also really enjoyed my 3-d class. Our first project we made was a wall piece made out of styrofoam (Star Wars Dancer). I was kind of hesitant at first to work with styrofoam but now I love it! I have started another wall piece to work on in my free time (very rare at the moment) and am working on another piece for my 3-d class that will mostly be styrofoam. I also made a 3-d self portrait partially out of styrofoam for my Art Education class. I was the only one that did something 3-d and it turned out really well. My teacher wants me to write about it and send it in to the College of Education to publish in the newsletter (Not sure if I actually will or not but I was pretty excited to hear that nonetheless).

My roommate, [link] , is going to make me take some of my artwork downtown this year and try to get it in a gallery. There are so many galleries and the Art Walk on the first Friday of every month make this pretty possible. Well, I hope. I am a little nervous about it but she is going to do it with me so that will be fun. I will keep you updated if I actually do or not. Yay for having an awesome roommate!

Well, I think that is all I have as an art update. Classes and life are good and yeh. The moods thing isn't working for me; I'm not feeling isolated. I'm feeling quite content.
